Strategic HR Advisor

Description

ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation in Edinburgh are currently looking to recruit a Strategic HR Advisor, for initial 6 month contracts (with potential extensions) on a rate of c.£650-£750/day inside of IR35 (based on experience).

Responsibilities:

• To provide senior-level strategic HR advisory and programme leadership to design and deliver a coordinated people transformation and change agenda.
• Act as programme lead across key strategic People & Culture projects.
• Support leaders through complex change, ensuring clarity, engagement, and minimal disruption
• Develop and embed change frameworks, tools, and governance
• Establish delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies, and risk and issues management frameworks
• Provide clear, concise reporting to Executive and Board level
• Ensure integration across HR and wider business initiatives

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in strategic HR Change & Transformation within complex organisations
• Demonstrable track record and expertise in organisational design and change management
• Ability to assess current ways of working and identify opportunities to improve operating model effectiveness, structure and organisational performance
• Demonstrable programme management capability (multi-workstream delivery)
• Ability to operate effectively at Executive / Board level and produce high quality outputs for senior audiences
• Experience in public sector or regulated environments, with an understanding of the Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED)
