Description

Are you an experienced Receptionist with strong administrative skills looking for your next role in the public sector? Do you have good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload?

ASA are currently looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication skills to provide receptionist cover for a large-scale client in the public sector.

Responsibilities:
· Work as part of a team to provide reception coverage during the premise’s opening hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
· Assist with managing access and entry to the premises for authorised members.
· Oversee sign-in and sign-out procedures, as well as visitor access arrangements.
· Maintain security standards and manage occupant safety and security in accordance with policy.
· Handle telephone inquiries and provide accurate information to callers.
· Receive and manage mail and courier deliveries.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
· Conduct tours of the building when required.

Requirements:
· Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
· Relevant IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), SAP, and other relevant software packages, with the ability to operate office equipment.
· Knowledge of administrative processes and systems.
· Enthusiastic and positive demeanour with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to prioritise customer needs and respond promptly to inquiries.
· Commitment to providing fair, consistent, and high-quality service to customers.
· Ability to handle difficult customer interactions and situations with professionalism and tact.
