At ASA Recruitment, we’re looking for reliable and motivated Domestic Assistants to join our team, supporting care homes and public sector facilities throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

That’s why our dedicated Coordinators take the time to understand your availability, preferred working days and the number of hours you’re looking for. We’ll work with you to identify suitable assignments and build a regular schedule, rather than simply offering the odd shift here and there.

Your Role

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, lounges and communal areas to a high standard.
• Maintaining excellent hygiene, cleanliness and infection prevention standards.
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with COSHH guidance.
• Working alongside care teams to maintain welcoming and comfortable surroundings for residents.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous cleaning, housekeeping or domestic experience
• An awareness of health and safety and infection control practices.
• A CV with a full five year employment history.
• A current PVG or willingness to obtain one.
