We’re looking for reliable, hardworking Kitchen Porters to join respected care homes across the city. Many people start in this role before progressing into Catering Assistant, Chef’s Assistant or even Chef, giving you a real pathway to grow long-term.

Step into a warm, welcoming kitchen where you’ll play an important role in supporting daily meal preparation and keeping things running smoothly the perfect place to escape the cold while making a real difference.

What You’ll Do:

• Keep kitchen and food prep areas clean, tidy, and hygienic
  * Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to a high standard
  * Help with simple food prep, from hearty winter stews to warming seasonal plates
  * Manage waste and keep bins organised
  * Support stock rotation and assist with deliveries
  * Follow food hygiene and safety procedures carefully

Who We’re Looking For:

• Dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn
  * Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  * Team focused with a positive, can do attitude
  * Experience in kitchens or catering is helpful but not essential
  * PVG required (or willingness to apply through ASA)
