We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Finance Transformation Programme Manager to spearhead innovation and progress.

This initial 8-month contract promises a competitive rate of £800-£900/day Inside IR35, with potential for extension.

This role will entail a hybrid work arrangement, encompassing both remote and office-based work.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide leadership to ensure collaboration among work-stream teams, fostering transparency regarding service status, programme deliveries, and realistic time lines and benefits.
· Engage directly with stakeholders to drive participation and maximise the adoption and utilisation of programme deliverable.
· Oversee day-to-day management of the finance work-stream, programme plan, risks, and resources.
· Proactively develop and manage project plans for the finance and related work-streams.
· Manage dependencies with other significant organisational programmes.
· Conduct programme assessments in alignment with the GSS Transformation Self-Assessment, addressing Process, Data, and Technology, while implementing actions to mitigate delivery risks.
· Act as a liaison between the Programme Director and the wider finance function within the organisation, ensuring proper visibility and escalation of issues.
· Represent the finance function in relevant customer and user groups involved in implementation.

Essential Skills:

· Demonstrated experience at senior levels, including extensive involvement in preparing and delivering Cloud-based ERP transformations (specifically Oracle Fusion), as well as expertise in finance function processes, customer service management, and business improvement strategies.
· Strong track record in project planning and driving delivery from initiation to execution to transition, particularly in areas such as integration, data management, and business change.
· Hands-on experience in planning and delivering complex implementations, with a focus on meeting programme milestones.
· Proficiency in finance function process management.
· Previous experience managing complex implementation processes in large, fragmented businesses with multiple stakeholders.
· Ideally, experience in managing Cloud-based ERP transformational change, with a hybrid functional/technical background and a deep understanding of how ERP systems can enhance finance function performance across various operations.
· Experience in stakeholder management at all levels within a public sector environment is essential.
