We’re recruiting Domestic Assistants to work across care homes in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Whether you already have cleaning experience or are looking to start a career, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment where residents can feel comfortable and at home.

What You’ll Be Doing

Cleaning resident bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and communal areas

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control

Using cleaning equipment and products safely

Restocking cleaning supplies when needed

Reporting maintenance or health and safety concerns

Working alongside care teams to support residents’ wellbeing

Treating residents with dignity, respect and compassion

What We’re Looking For

Previous cleaning or domestic experience is preferred but not essential

A positive attitude and great attention to detail

Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team

Good communication skills

A current PVG or willingness to obtain on

What We Offer

Competitive pay from £13.45 per hour, rising upto £16.78 per hour for weekend shifts after a 12week qualifying period

Weekly pay and holiday acrrucal on every shift
