Looking for a full time role where you’ll be supported by a team that gets to know you?

We’re recruiting Domestic Assistants to support care homes and public facilities across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

At ASA Recruitment, you’ll have a dedicated Coordinator as your main point of contact, providing personalised support and helping you find regular work that suits your skills, experience and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and communal areas to a high standard
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively
• Adhere to COSHH and Health & Safety guidelines
• Replenish cleaning supplies when required
• Report maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly
• Work closely with care staff to support residents’ comfort and wellbeing
• Respect residents’ privacy, dignity and independence at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Previous cleaning or domestic experience is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable, hardworking and well organised
• Friendly, professional and compassionate approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A current PVG or willingness to obtain one
