Care Assistant – Day Shifts Only

Your Role

Using your skills, experience and commitment to best practice, you will:

• Deliver person centred care in line with individual care plans, promoting dignity, privacy and respect at all times
• Support residents with personal care, nutrition, hydration and daily living activities, following recognised best practice guidance
• Carry out safe moving and handling in accordance with current legislation, training, and risk assessments, using appropriate equipment correctly
• Promote independence, choice and empowerment, supporting residents to maintain autonomy and quality of life
• Recognise ,document and appropriately escalate changes in residents physical, emotional or behavioural wellbeing
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely care records, ensuring documentation meets regulatory and organisational standards
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and the wider care team to ensure high quality care
• Uphold safeguarding principles, infection prevention measures, and duty of care responsibilities at all times

Who We’re Looking For

• Proven experience within a UK care home or adult social care setting
• Strong understanding of person centred care, moving and handling, safeguarding and professional standards
• A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A current PVG (or willingness to apply)
• A genuine passion for delivering high quality care that respects dignity and enhances wellbeing
• An up to date CV covering at least the last 10 years
