We’re currently recruiting motivated and dependable Kitchen Assistants to support catering operations across a range of care settings, including care homes, sheltered housing and community based services.

Key responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Work alongside chefs, cooks and catering colleagues, providing practical support during food preparation and busy service periods.
• Build practical kitchen experience, develop food preparation skills and take on additional responsibilities as confidence and experience grow.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, cleaning
• A positive and proactive approach to work, with the ability to take initiative and manage allocated responsibilities.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
• A willingness to undertake a PVG application or update an existing membership where required.
