At ASA Recruitment, we’re looking for compassionate, experienced Care Assistants who understand that great care is about more than meeting physical needs. It’s about offering reassurance, building connections and helping every resident feel safe, valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care that protects dignity and promotes independence.
• Bring warmth, compassion and reassurance to every interaction.
• Support residents with personal care, daily routines and safe mobility.
• Help prevent pressure damage through repositioning and early reporting of skin changes.
• Recognise changes in resident’s health, mood or behaviour and report concerns promptly.
• Support residents living with dementia through patience, understanding and gentle communication.
• Encourage independence while respecting each resident’s choices and abilities.
• Build connections through conversation, reminiscence and activities reflecting each resident’s interests and life experiences.
• Support nutrition, hydration and overall comfort.
• Maintain accurate care records and provide clear handovers.
• Work collaboratively to deliver safe, respectful and high-quality care.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in UK care homes, nursing homes, hospitals or adult social care.
• Confidence supporting people with varied care needs, including dementia, complex care and mobility.
• A warm-hearted, compassionate approach and a genuine passion for helping others.
• Strong communication and observational skills, with the ability to recognise and report concerns.
• An understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding and infection prevention.
• A current PVG or willingness to apply.
