ASA Recruitment are working with one of Scotland’s oldest universities to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant. This contract role is suitable for candidates able to work in Edinburgh on a hybrid basis.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Provide full confidential administrative support to the Head of School, Deputy Head(s) of School and senior leadership team to facilitate the balance of their full range of professional and management responsibilities
• Plan and manage the smooth workflow of business by identifying and initiating action required in response to the many and varied requests received via various mailboxes
• Manage diaries to ensure efficient and effective scheduling of the Senior Leadership Team’s time, pre-empting conflicts and over-commitments
• Provide administrative support to school-wide meetings and events as required, including liaising with participants regarding logistics and materials, arranging hospitality and venues.

• Demonstrable experience working in a busy administrative role, supporting senior staff
• Analytical and problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to seeking out information
• Ability to confidently and proactively work independently, to use initiative and prioritise own work
