Do you have public sector Procurement experience?

ASA are looking to recruit an experienced Procurement and Contracts Partner to join the ranks at Scotland’s largest public sector client. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Provide advice, guidance and partnering to DPOs adopting a risk based approach on the best route to market for goods, services, works or concession contracts
• Partner DPOs with their procurements which will include writing the commodity / service strategy, market engagement, sourcing suppliers, assisting with the technical specification and scope of requirements
• Develop documentation required for issuing the Invitation to Tender (ITT), opening and evaluating tenders, providing post tender clarifications and contract award
• Regular analysis of spend trends by commodity / service to identify areas of recurring and or non- contracted spend, potential irregularities and highlight areas for improvement including consolidation for procurement of replacement contracts

So, what are we looking for?

• Strong procurement experience
• Experience in public sector procurement policies and procedures
• Working towards CIPS qualification
