About the Client

Working in a Hybrid capacity, this public sector department will fully train you to allow you to work from home as much as possible.

Your Opportunity

This is an exciting role within the Accounts Receivable (AS) Function of the Financial Accounting Services Teams (FAST). The role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to secure revenue whilst adhering to departmental policies and accounting standards.

This is an entry level position, suiting a college Graduate with strong communication skills, ability to work on own initiative and deal with sensitive situations.

Responsibilities include

• Collection of aged debt within agreed payment terms.
• Monitor Credit Customer Account balances, identify outstanding payments and contact customers by phone and email.
• Negotiating repayment terms.
• Monitor deadlines and work with key contacts to improve processes.
• Monitor multiple mailboxes and handle incoming email, telephone and face-to-face queries.
