Are you a creative visual storyteller with a passion for video production and digital content? A leading public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Video Content Manager to join their visual content team on a 12-month contract, contributing to high-impact communications projects that support strategic priorities.
About the Role
You’ll be part of a dynamic content team producing compelling visual material for use across digital and social channels. The role focuses on delivering high-quality video and photography assets that align with public engagement goals and policy communications.
Key Responsibilities
Capture and edit professional video and still content for social media and digital platforms
Collaborate with news and marketing teams to produce accurate and engaging visual assets
Plan and coordinate shoots, including logistics and scheduling
Train colleagues on basic video editing tools and techniques
Maintain quality, accessibility, and brand consistency across all outputs
Organise and archive content for re-use and repurposing
Act as a point of contact for video-related queries and support
Essential Skills & Experience
Demonstrable experience in video production and photography using modern camera tech
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud – particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop
Strong portfolio of content created for social platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure
Knowledge of accessibility standards in video content
Full, clean UK driving licence
