  • Plan and conduct user research activities including focus groups, interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
  • Analyse both qualitative and quantitative data to deliver clear findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop user personas and map user journeys, drawing on ethnographic and demographic research.

  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure user needs are at the heart of project decisions.
  • Present research findings confidently to a range of business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and equal opportunities policies in research activities.
  • Keep up to date with user-centred design (UCD) trends and emerging technologies.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in conducting user research across multiple methods (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary digital team.
  • An evidence-led, solution-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Awareness of costs, budgets, and project timelines.
  • Knowledge of user-centred design principles and usability testing best practices.

Desirable:
