Support Workers – Group Living & Respite Services

Location: Cowdenbeath

Pay Rate: From £13.64 per hour

Hours: Full-Time Opportunities Available

Minimum Commitment: 3 Months

ASA Recruitment is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a range of residential and respite services in the Cowdenbeath area, supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives while gaining valuable experience within specialist support services. You’ll be working as part of an established team, helping individuals live fulfilling lives while promoting independence, choice, and wellbeing.

Available shift patterns include:

* Dayshifts

* Backshifts

* Sleepovers

* Nightshifts

The Role:

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs. Duties may include:

* Assisting with personal care and daily living activities

* Supporting individuals to access their local community and attend appointments

* Encouraging independence and life skills development

* Providing emotional support and building positive relationships

* Administering or supporting with medication in line with care plans

* Maintaining accurate records and contributing to support planning

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts

* Commitment to delivering high-quality support

* Previous experience in care, support work, residential services, or mental health settings is beneficial but not essential
