Location: Kinross, Perthshire
Pay: £12.60 per hour | Permanent Opportunity | Fully Funded SVQ Training

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities and complex needs? We are currently recruiting Support Workers to join a dedicated team providing 24-hour care in a well-established, purpose-built bungalow in Kinross.

About the Service
Set within a quiet, mixed housing estate, this modern bungalow was designed to meet the needs of individuals requiring wheelchair-accessible accommodation. The service supports four adults-both male and female-each with their own en-suite bedrooms and private patio areas. Communal areas include a fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge, dining area, and shared bathroom.

This is a Housing Support and Care at Home service, registered with the Care Inspectorate, and supported by a team of 12 staff. You’ll be part of a rota system that includes early shifts, back shifts, nightshifts, and sleepovers, working both independently and within a team environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support individuals with a wide range of needs, including:

Daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, shopping)

Intimate personal care, including toileting and showering

Medication administration and financial budgeting

Supporting communication (e.g., Makaton)

Emotional, behavioural and mobility support

Engaging in community activities and accessing local amenities

Promoting safety, wellbeing, and communal living

You’ll also:

Participate in regular supervisions and direct observations

Collaborate with external professionals and family members

Follow a robust on-call system for out-of-hours support

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in care or support settings

A genuine passion for supporting people to live fulfilling lives

Strong communication and teamworking skills

Flexibility to work across a rolling rota including sleepovers

Training & Development
All mandatory and service-specific training provided

Support to gain your SVQ in Health and Social Care (if not already achieved)

Commitment to ongoing development and SSSC registration

This is more than just a job-it’s a chance to make a real, lasting impact.

Apply now to be part of a caring, values-driven team where every day makes a difference.
