Location: Kinross, Perthshire
Pay: £12.60 per hour | Weekly Pay | Fully Funded SVQ Training
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time | Rotational Shifts

Are you looking for a stable, permanent role where your support truly matters? We’re recruiting compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join a dedicated team delivering 24-hour care in a purpose-built home in Kinross.

About the Role

You’ll be working in a modern, wheelchair-accessible bungalow supporting four adults who each have their own en-suite bedrooms and private patio areas. The service is warm, homely, and built around dignity, respect, and routine.

Key duties include:

Supporting with personal care, medication, and budgeting

Helping with meals, shopping, daily routines, and community activities

Encouraging communication (including Makaton) and emotional wellbeing

Contributing to a positive, calm shared living environment

Accurately maintaining records and communicating with colleagues and families

Shift Patterns

This is a 24/7 service. Shifts operate on a rolling rota and include:

Early shifts

Back shifts

Nightshifts

Sleepovers

You’ll work independently at times and also as part of a close-knit team.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in care or support roles (preferred but not essential)

A caring, calm, and dependable approach

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleepovers

Willingness to register with the SSSC and complete necessary training

Strong teamworking and communication skills

Training & Development

Full induction and ongoing service-specific training

Fully funded SVQ in Health and Social Care (if not already completed)

Regular supervision, mentoring, and opportunities for progression

£12.60 per hour
