£13.85 per hour | Full-Time Hours | Permanent Opportunities

Location: Ballingry
Pay: £13.85 per hour
Shifts: 8:00am-8:00pm / 8:00pm-8:00am
Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence essential
Weekends: Included on a rota basis

A Support Role That Goes Beyond the Day-to-Day

Are you looking for a Support Worker role where you can genuinely help people enjoy life, build independence and get involved in the activities they love?

ASA Recruitment is looking for experienced and enthusiastic Support Workers to join a specialist service in Ballingry, supporting autistic adults on a one-to-one basis.

This is an active and varied role. The people you support enjoy getting out into the community, with opportunities to go swimming, sailing, walking, attend clubs and take part in a range of activities and interests.

The service also has its own mobility cars, allowing individuals to access the community and enjoy activities outside of the home.

What Could Your Day Look Like?

No two days need to be the same. You could be:

• Supporting someone to go swimming
• Accompanying someone sailing
• Going for walks and enjoying the outdoors
• Supporting attendance at local clubs and activities
• Helping with appointments, shopping and community activities
• Supporting daily living skills and household tasks
• Helping individuals maintain their independence and tenancy
• Providing personal care where required
• Encouraging individuals to make their own choices and achieve their personal goals

The focus is on person-centred support, building positive relationships and helping the people you support live as independently and actively as possible.

• Caring, patient and compassionate
• Reliable and committed
• Confident working independently
• Comfortable using their own initiative
• Experienced in care or support work
• Positive and enthusiastic
• Comfortable with an active, community-based role
• Holders of a full UK driving licence – essential
