Location: Ballingry, Fife
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm (with permanent opportunity)
Hours: 36 per week (flexible shifts including weekends & overnights)
Pay: From £13.00 per hour (DOE)

Are you looking for a role that offers flexibility now and long-term stability in the future? ASA Recruitment is seeking an active and compassionate Female Support Worker to join a dedicated team in Ballingry.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, is physically fit, and wants to make a real difference. You’ll be supporting individuals with Autism, learning disabilities, and behaviours that challenge, both at home and out in the community.

What the Role Involves:

• Supporting clients in their daily routines – including personal care, light household tasks, and meal preparation

• Taking part in active activities – from daily swimming sessions (no support in the water required, just confidence) to long walks

• Being a positive presence, building trust, and encouraging independence

• Supporting two male clients on active outings and helping with household tasks

• Working closely with other professionals to ensure consistent, person-centred care

What We’re Looking For:

• Female applicant (due to client preferences)

• At least 6 months’ paid care or support experience in the UK

• Physically fit, active, and confident in the water

• Patient, resilient, and able to communicate effectively

• Full UK driving licence and access to transport

• PVG membership (or willingness to apply – we’ll support you)

Shifts:

A rolling rota including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Flexibility is essential, but you’ll benefit from a consistent 36-hour working pattern once permanent.
