ASA is seeking a skilled and dedicated Stonemaon’s for various clients in Edinburgh. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to work on diverse projects using a range of materials, including stone, lime mortars, and specialist repair systems.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality craftsmanship, and a strong understanding of masonry techniques. You’ll be expected to deliver aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound work, often in collaboration with other trades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct, repair, and maintain stone structures.
• Shape and finish materials using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with carpenters, welders, and other trades.
• Follow all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
• Assist with roofing material installations as needed.

Requirements:

• Right to Work (RTW) in the UK is essential.
• Proven experience in masonry or a related trade.
• Valid CSCS card required.
• Proficiency with masonry hand tools and power tools.
• Familiarity with bricklaying techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other trades.
• High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
• Physical stamina for manual labour.
• Full UK Driver’s Licence (desirable for travel to multiple sites).
