Room Attendants/Cleaning Operatives

You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and an inviting atmosphere in guest rooms and public areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience will play a key role in ensuring the satisfaction and comfort of our client’s customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitise, and organise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces according to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish room amenities such as toiletries, beverages, and snacks.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues and report them to the maintenance team or supervisor.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items such as extra towels, blankets, or toiletries.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all housekeeping areas.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supplies in good working condition.
• Handle and store cleaning products safely, adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Report any lost and found items to the housekeeping manager or front desk.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements:

• Previous UK housekeeping/cleaning experience
• Valid Right to Work in the UK
• CV covering 5 years of work history
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
