Are you a Linux expert?

ASA Recruitment are looking to source an experienced Linux Compute and Storage Systems Engineer to support a large Scottish university.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Developing and maintaining services and systems which use Linux and Unix operating systems together
• Be responsible for administration of the large scale Linux-based high-performance computing cluster
• Completing challenging third line support tasks
• Deploying physical hardware such as storage arrays, servers and fibre channel fabric switching

So, what are we looking for?

• Experience of Linux system administration is essential
• Ability to work autonomously
• Experience in configuration management platform such as SaltStack or Puppet would be advantageous
