Laundry Assistant

We’re looking for Domestic and Laundry Assistants to join our team in a friendly and supportive environment. If you are reliable, compassionate, and take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces, this role could be ideal for you.

About the Role:
As a Laundry & Domestic Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a high standard of hygiene and comfort for residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring communal areas, resident rooms and laundry services are kept clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
• Sorting, washing, drying, and folding laundry efficiently, while paying attention to individual resident needs
• Following infection prevention and control procedures to maintain a safe environment for all
• Assisting the wider care team to promote dignity, comfort, and wellbeing for residents
• Providing flexible support to meet the needs of the home

You’ll Need:

• Previous cleaning or laundry experience is preferred, but not essential
• A caring, patient, and respectful attitude towards older people
• Flexibility and adaptability to support different areas of the home as needed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment
