Agency Chef – Care Homes
We are seeking experienced, reliable Chefs to join our agency team, working across a variety of care homes. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are passionate about preparing nutritious meals and making a real difference to the lives of elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and cooking meals in line with residents’ dietary needs and preferences
Designing and following menus that are nutritious, varied, and comply with dietary regulations
Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, kitchen safety, and cleanliness are maintained
Working independently or alongside kitchen assistants where required
Managing stock levels and kitchen records in line with care home policies

What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a Chef (care home or healthcare environment preferred)
Valid Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (or higher)
Good understanding of nutrition, allergens, and special dietary requirements
Ability to work independently and adapt to different kitchen environments
