ASA is seeking a driven, hands on individuals to help keep our client’s kitchen running smoothly. This role is all about supporting the team, keeping things clean and organised, and making sure the kitchen is ready for action at all times. Settings can include care homes, sheltered housing, and more.

Key Tasks:

• Washing and sanitising pots, pans, trays, and utensils, ensuring everything is spotless and ready for use.
• Maintaining hygiene standards by cleaning work surfaces, floors, and kitchen equipment to meet strict hygiene regulations.
• Assisting with basic food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, or helping assemble simple dishes under the guidance of the kitchen team.
• Stock rotation and restocking, making sure ingredients, condiments, and supplies are stored correctly and ready for service.
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods, helping chefs with tasks as needed to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a kitchen or busy environment (helpful, but not essential)
• PVG certificate or willingness to update/apply
• Friendly, reliable, and a great team player
• Energetic, committed, and ready to get the job done
• A self-starter who doesn’t shy away from physical work
• Reliable, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to support the team wherever needed
