Are you an experienced HR assistant with strong administrative experience looking for your next job opportunity?

ASA are currently working with a large-scale client in the public sector who are looking for an experienced HR assistant to support their HR Team and provide comprehensive administration service. This role will provide an excellent opportunity for the post holder to grow and develop as an HR Professional, working within a challenging and fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities for the role:

· Collating and recording sickness absence data, ensuring accurate documentation, and issuing return to work paperwork.
· Planning and coordinating Occupational Health Clinics to support employee well-being.
· Handling general HR-related enquiries from staff, headquarters, and external agencies with professionalism and efficiency.
· Processing staff changes and pay claims, while maintaining meticulous filing systems within the department.
· Providing valuable administrative support throughout the recruitment and selection process, contributing to the seamless on-boarding of new talent

Key requirements for the role:

· A minimum of 2 National 5 (or equivalent) qualifications, including English and Mathematics, or relevant experience gained in a similar role and/or environment.
· Previous experience in an administrative role, demonstrating strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to effectively manage tasks and data.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to interact confidently with individuals at all levels within the organisation.
· The ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships, collaborating effectively within a team and across departments.
· Strong prioritisation skills, allowing you to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
· Understanding of Data Protection Legislation to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
