Description

Are you passionate about providing efficient and customer-focused HR services? Do you have strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail? We are working with a large-scale client in the public sector who is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as an HR Administrator.

Responsibilities:
· Manage various HR and payroll administration tasks monthly to ensure the delivery of efficient and customer-focused services to employees and candidates.
· Create and maintain employee records on payroll and HR systems accurately.
· Administer staff contractual changes, ensuring timely issuance of contractual paperwork.
· Handle administration of maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave, as well as absence administration including sickness and unpaid leave.
· Respond to queries in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
· Record information to assist in process monitoring and continuous process improvement initiatives.
· Collaborate with the HR Officer to support projects aimed at enhancing performance, reducing waste, and fostering continuous process improvement within the HR Unit.

Requirements:
· Experience in HR administration or a related field is preferred.
· Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on effective and open communication.
· Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
· Ability to work well within a diverse team, supporting colleagues and managers within the HR Unit and the wider organisation.
· Understanding of Data Protection and Confidentiality within the workplace, including knowledge of the types of data typically handled by HR.
· Proven experience in IT systems, including proficiency in using a variety of IT packages. Experience with ITrent system is highly desirable.
· Experience working in a busy, customer-focused environment and providing consistent and accurate advice
