ASA Recruitment is partnering with a local authority to offer a highly sought after opportunity within care home settings across Edinburgh. These roles don’t come around often and offer consistent, meaningful work in a professional environment.
This is an ongoing position based within a single location, providing stability and routine.
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to discuss and agree a mutually suitable placement at a preferred site.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness across rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
* Uphold strict hygiene and sanitation practices
* Use cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively
* Follow COSHH and health & safety guidelines
* Monitor and restock cleaning supplies
* Accurately record completed tasks
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in professional cleaning environments (care, residential, or commercial)
* Strong knowledge of infection control and best practices
* High attention to detail with a thorough, methodical approach
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
* Current PVG or willingness to obtain
* Flexibility to work full-time hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
