DevOps Engineer

Are you a DevOps Engineer with a passion for public sector transformation and cutting-edge cloud delivery?

We’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to support a critical public sector programme based in Edinburgh.

You’ll play a key role in delivering secure, scalable, and automated solutions across enterprise environments, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure, DevOps tooling, and Power Platform integration.

Essential Skills:

CI/CD & Agile: Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, Kanban boards)
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep
Power Platform: Dataverse, Model Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate, Copilot
Deployment Automation: Ansible, Chef, Terraform, or Deployment Manager
Testing: Understanding of non-functional, functional & unit test frameworks
Containers: Knowledge of Java containers and app servers
Scripting & Automation: PowerShell, AZ CLI, Power Platform CLI, Python, Bash, YAML, JSON
Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights
Architecture: Familiarity with cloud design patterns and DevOps best practices

Desirable Experience:
Databases/Caching: Azure SQL, CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis
Advanced Power Platform: PowerFX, Power Query, DAX, WDL
Scripting: Advanced PowerShell skills
Cloud Platforms: Exposure to AWS, GCP or other environments
