Description

ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit 20x Data Entry Clerks, onsite in either Hamilton or East Kilbride for initial 3 month contracts (starting 29th June 2026) on a rate of £13.84/hour PAYE to £15.59/hour PAYE (based on experience).

Responsibilities:

  • Extract and interpret handwritten data from job tickets, timesheets and stock lists
  • Accurately input data into the new repairs system
  • Ensure all entries are complete, consistent, and error-free
  • Manage high volumes of data within tight deadlines
  • Identify and flag unclear or missing information
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company procedures
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support as required

Essential Experience:

  • Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret handwritten information accurately
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and data systems
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Team player with a flexible and proactive approach

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with MRI Housing One would be very advantageous (desirable but not essential)
