About the Role:

ASA Recruitment are expanding their team of talented and experienced Care Assistants and Support Workers to become a crucial member of the health care network in Edinburgh.

We are looking for people who put the services users at centre of what they do, going the extra mile, providing exceptional service to all those within the care sector.

Providing top-notch, person centred care, this includes:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide support with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Encourage and support clients in maintaining a balanced and nutritious diet.

Requirements:

• Previous UK care experience
• PVG for Adults – Update required through ASA
• A valid SSSC within 6 months of starting work with us
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to assist with lifting and mobility as needed.
