Job Opportunity: Care Assistant (Day Shifts Only)

Location: Morningside, Edinburgh

Pay Rate: £13.00 – £16.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)

If you’re an experienced Care Assistant who thrives in a care home environment and finds meaning in supporting older adults, we invite you to join us for day shifts in a well regarded care facility located in Morningside, Edinburgh.

Please note: We are not currently accepting Night shifts Only applications.

Your Role

This is a vital opportunity to deliver quality care in one of Edinburgh’s most respected care settings, based in the Morningside area.

• Provide personal care (Washing, dressing, toileting) in a warm and supportive environment
• Assist residents with mobility and moving & handing
• Support mealtime routines and help ensure all dietary needs are met
• Encourage involvement in stimulating activities to support wellbeing
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and dignified setting for all residents
• Communicate effectively with families, residents, and the wider care team
• Record care notes accurately and respond promptly to any changes in residents’ conditions

This role is based in a residential care home located in Morningside, Edinburgh, where a calm, community-focused setting allows you to deliver person-centred support.

What You’ll Need:

• 6 months Experience in UK care homes or NHS settings
• Right to work in the UK
• Full 10-year employment history on your CV
• PVG
• SSSC registration
• Compassionate attitude and clear communication skills
• Flexibility to work long day shifts and weekends (No night only – Applications)
