Job Title: Breakfast & Lunch Chef

Location: Edinburgh Salary: £13.50-£16.00 per hour

Shift Pattern: Early mornings, 6am – 2pm

ASA Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Breakfast and Lunch Chefs to work in a variety of settings across Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary talent and flexibility during the busiest service periods of the day. Whether you’re preparing a classic full Scottish breakfast or a fresh midday special, your skills will help create memorable meals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold dishes for both breakfast and lunch service
• Manage high volume service efficiently while maintaining presentation and quality
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
• Monitor and manage stock levels; place orders when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience working as a chef, ideally with both breakfast and lunch service
• Holds a valid Food Hygiene certificate
• Reliable and flexible with early morning and weekend availability
• Calm, organised, and able to thrive under pressure
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
