Description

Are you an experienced Team Leader looking for a new opportunity?

ASA are looking for a Customer Administration Team Leader to manage a brand new team that’s been created within our public sector client organisation. Due to a special project underway, our client is looking to bring on someone with a strong background in leadership to support them.

This position requires high levels of concentration, scrutinising large databases of detailed information. If you’re comfortable with spreadsheets and Excel, this is the role for you!

The role is hybrid, however you will be able to work from home for the most part. You will need to be able to travel the Edinburgh office when needed.

If you started in this role today, you would…

· Partake in daily monitoring of staff performance to ensure the pre-defined targets are met to a high standard. You will contribute towards formal reviews to monitor staff progress and support their personal development.
· You will be expected to take initiative, and use judgement to prevent the escalation of complaints/process failures as a result of non-action. You will telephone or email relevant stakeholders to resolve complex queries, and use discretion as to whether payments should be approved.
· Keep an open line of communication with all relevant departments, and keep your team informed on any new developments and working practices.

So, what are we looking for?

· The post holder should be educated to Higher Grade Level or equivalent i.e. NEBS, SVQ and must be numerate.
· Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
· The post holder must possess or have the ability to acquire a detailed understanding of the Dental Regulations (DR), Statement of Dental Remuneration (SDR) and Ophthalmic Remunerations.
· Possess or have the ability to learn and operate specific software packages such as MIDAS, OPTIX, and Business objects.
· Candidates must be self-starter with an ability to prioritise work and be ready to make decisions within a short time period or using own initiative.
· Good keyboard skills and experience of working within a Microsoft Windows environment is desirable, as are excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In return, we can offer you…

A great opportunity to have a well-known and established public-sector organisation added to your experience.
