Catering Assistant

Description

ASA Recruitment are now looking for a number of experienced Catering Assistants to work in venues across Edinburgh including, Schools, Care Homes and Contract Catering Units.

As part of the ASA Catering team as a Catering Assistants you will be responsible for:

– Demonstrating a good knowledge of food hygiene practices
– Assist the chef with the meal preparation tasks and support the kitchen team loading and unloading the dishwasher
– Make sure appliances, surfaces, floors and walls are clean
– Helping to serve meals

To be eligible to perform a Catering Assistant role in Schools and Care Homes in the Edinburgh Area you will need to apply for a PVG Scheme Membership or undergo an update if you already have one.
