Customer Service Agent

Description

Our client in Aberdeen require a Customer Service Adviser on a 12 week placement to assist in the smooth running of all functions pertaining to Customer Service teams whilst maintaining consistently high levels of customer care. The role will involve floorwalking duties greeting customers upon arrival the directing them to the correct place to access the services they are looking for. Customers will also be apportioned a place in an electronic queuing system and digital assistance will need to be offered where appropriate

Typical working hours will be Monday – Friday ( 37 hour week ) with an hourly rate of £9.76 per hour ( PAYE ) plus holiday pay accrual

The postholder will be expected to deliver efficient, effective and professional services to customers through face to face, telephone, written and electronic means of communication in accordance with relevant legislation and governance policy. Tasks to include:

* Handling enquiries
* Answering incoming calls
* Performing administrative functions
* Updating customer accounts

Minimum requirements for the role:

* Previous skills and experience of a relevant customer facing role
* Meeting service targets both individually and as part of a team
* Using standard ICT packages including Microsoft Office
* Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised
* Being able to relate to people on all levels
* Ability to handle difficult / emergency situations
