ASA Recruitment are working with an exciting sustainability consultancy to recruit an experienced Environmental Consultant. This permanent role is suitable for candidates based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, to work on a hybrid basis.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Supporting the client’s customers on their pathway to net zero
• Identifying opportunities within their business to improve energy efficiency including their offices, supply chain and product/service delivery
• Implementing net zero carbon strategies, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation
• Leading on projects to improve sustainability across the businesses, working alongside stakeholders of varying levels of seniority

So, what are we looking for?

• Professional experience in previous environmental/sustainability consultancy roles
• Degree level education in a relevant discipline (e.g. Environmental, Energy, Sustainability) or equivalent experience
• Have a real interest and passion for sustainability, with a good knowledge of the principles and challenges associated with it
• Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation
