Are you a Business Analyst looking to take on a contract opportunity within a prestigious large scale project in the public sector?

ASA are looking for a Business Analyst to join the public sector in Edinburgh. This contract opportunity would be perfect for an individual looking to take the lead on a national systems implementation programme.

The Business Analyst Role:
· Have great understanding of planning and dependencies with the ability to support and run workshops both online and in-person and be able to identify and raise issues with planned activities.

· Deliver a range of research engagements and be able to synthesise data to produce actionable and impactful findings. Work collaboratively with the research team to write research reports and present findings in an impactful way to a variety of audiences.

· Be able to identify risk, make recommendations and suggest improvements where appropriate that consider both the systems and business needs and expectations.
· Work closely with the business team, technical managers and delivery partners across all stages of the project using communication skills to support the delivery function to end users.

· Support development of training materials and be able to challenge existing materials to ensure they produce the best experience for the relevant stakeholders.

As a successful candidate you will need:
· Strong communication skills and be able to partner with other teams to develop a strong framework of connections and stakeholders through workshop facilitation.
· Extensive experience of business process mapping and analysis and data modelling analysis.
· Confident and experienced in Microsoft Excel usage in tracking and monitoring work.
