ASA Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced HR Generalist Officer to join a large-scale public inquiry in Scotland’s public sector. This role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area to work on a hybrid basis.
If you started in this role today you would…
- Support the Head of HR within the people strategy and lead on continuous planning and improvement in line with the needs of the Inquiry with a particular focus on building a strong and trusting partnership with key project delivery staff
- You will focus on creating and delivering people practices which develop and maintain a positive working culture and environment
- Take the lead on all aspects of the diversity and inclusion priorities and relevant training
- Employee relations resolution, referring disputes appropriately if they arise to ensure all parties are heard and understood and provide mediation where and when it is appropriate or refer to relevant body as required
- Prepare and produce draft HR policy and procedure as requested by the Head of HR and in line with current legislation for review by Head of HR

- Experienced human resources professional
- Working towards CIPD qualification
- Strong knowledge and experience of HR policies
