Are you an experienced Finance Administrator?

ASA Recruitment are working with a large Scottish public sector body to recruit an experienced Finance Administrator. This role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area to work on a hybrid basis.

If you started in this role today you would be …

  • Carrying out and taking ownership of administrative processes from end to end, including processing invoices, dealing with customer enquiries, completing BACS payments, banking work and issuing remittances
  • Calculating prompt payment data and giving reasons for any late payments, inputting either sales invoices or sales credit notes and receipts, debt collection and updating and maintaining authorised signatory database
  • Managing own and the office’s generic mailboxes, including responding to enquiries and escalating any issues in accordance with the office’s service level agreements

So, what are we looking for?

  • Proven financial administration experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in an accounts payable role would be advantageous
