ASA Recruitment are looking to source an HR Assistant to support a large Scottish public sector inquiry. This long term contract role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area, to work on a hybrid basis.
If you started in this role today you would be…
- Supporting the HR Manager in recruiting staff, driving recruitment campaigns from the initial drafting of job descriptions to arranging interviews
- Ensuring effective records of staff details are maintained using prescribed processes, ensuring staff confidentiality, and complying with GDPR
- Coordinating training sessions and seminars for the Inquiry, ensuring that the continuous development and personal improvement of staff is at the heart of the Inquiry’s work
- Providing general support to the general running of the Inquiry, for example, covering reception, conducting quarterly data audits, monitoring mailboxes, and reviewing and improving internal instructions, processes and procedures
So, what are we looking for?
- Experience within an administrative background
- Strong interest or experience in Human Resources
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and plan workload in a fast-paced environment
