Are you a senior leader with a background in digital research looking for a new opportunity?

ASA’s public sector client is looking for a Senior User Researcher to join their multi-disciplinary team and deliver leading user-focused products. The placement is an office-based or hybrid role in Edinburgh.

If you started in this role today you would…

· Plan and execute field and lab based user research relevant to the project.
· Provide advice to colleagues and encourage best practice in the achievement of robust and actionable findings.
· Be inclusive to the needs of a wide range of users, and carry out appropriate research activities.
· Support teams in designing and delivering an accessible service that works for all users.
· Be an advocate for user research to influence disengaged colleagues.

So, what are we looking for?

· You will be experienced in a senior role designing and delivering a variety of inclusive user-centred designs.
· A savvy decision maker, able to apply appropriate research methods for various life cycle phases and situations.
· You’ll be a strong communicator that can present research approaches and insights in an engaging manner to stimulate conversation and collaboration.
· You’ll have demonstrable knowledge of user-centred design practices.
· You will recognise yourself as a self-aware and engaging leader.

It would be nice to be…

· Experienced working within a Scottish public sector digital team.
