HR Officer

Are you an experienced HR Officer with experience of working on employee relations cases?

ASA is looking for an HR Officer to work for one of our public sector clients in central Edinburgh starting ASAP until September 2019.

Responsibilities:

· Identify and evaluate opportunities for quality improvement in HR
· Interpret and research employment law and keep knowledge up to date
· Deal with a variety of ER cases including attendance management, disciplinary, grievances and poor performance
· Provide advice and support to managers relating to ER cases
· Support HR Advisers and Managers with HR project work

Requirements:

· Case management experience
· Understanding of employment legislation
· The ability to provide guidance and advice to managers
· Confident at delivering challenging feedback
· Experience of working within an operational HR department

Ideally you will be CIPD qualified or working towards this.
