Head of HR looking for a new challenge?

ASA Recruitment are working with Scotland’s largest public sector client to recruit an experienced Head of HR to join their financial compliance division. This role is suitable for candidates based in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Inverness.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Identifying and contributing to the development and implementation of business and HR service improvements which will support and enable the organisation’s ambitions to be a world class employer
• Taking a lead role in strengthening the organisational culture, ensuring an action plan is executed for diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with organisation values, the business strategy and statutory commitments
• Providing reports across all areas of HR, including the application of Employment Law, HR policies, best practice and workforce planning and development
• Providing professional leadership, support and development to the HR team, to increase knowledge, share best practice and to ensure that relevant professional standards are met, nurturing a culture where your colleagues are motivated, developed and empowered to perform effectively

So, what are we looking for?

• Proven experience of managing a generalist HR team and their associated HR processes and policies
• Experience of the effective management of all processes relating to ‘the employee lifecycle’ including; attraction and recruitment, induction, complex employee relations, internal governance and compliance, budgets and workforce resourcing
• Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification and membership at Associate or Chartered level
