ASA Recruitment is looking for experienced Edinburgh based Care Assistants to work in Residential Care Homes across the city. Suitable candidates will be allocated to one Care Home of their choice and work there throughout the Coronavirus Pandemic. This is to ensure safety of residents as well as other healthcare staff. Our clients are looking for individuals who are hard-working, resilient and who work well within a team as well as on their own.

The roles and responsibilities of successful candidate include but are not limited to:

Assisting with personal care

Assisting with eating and drinking

Assisting with activities

Providing support to residents during this unprecedented time

Some of the residents will not have seen their friends or families for quite some time so it is the responsibility of the healthcare staff to show care and compassion to those who need it most.

In order to apply for this role you must have at least 6 months relevant experience within the healthcare sector in the UK and have availability to work 36 hours per week. You must also have a current PVG and be registered with SSSC.

Successful candidates will receive a competitive rate of pay starting at £9.30 which will increase after 13 weeks of work. You will also accrue holiday hours for every hour you work which you can take at any point within your holiday year. You will also have access to the ASA Portal which allows you to add your availability from the comfort of your own home and keep track of your shifts.
