Description

As a Chef at a residential home, you will provide a tasty service to elderly patients.
They will be excited to try your fantastic food.
This is your time to shine and to make their day even better.
It’s an opportunity to grow your experience, add to your skill set and show off your highest performance.

We look to continually support you through your time with ASA, we will be there for any queries, issues or suggestions you may have. We look to ensure you take holidays when you need to and because you accrue holiday pay every time you work we keep this aside for you to take whenever you need within your holiday year. We have an online portal so you can; log entries, book days off, and show availability for shifts. We view your entries and follow up the best we can, we are here for you!

Our ideal candidate is a disciplined, passionate, and creative chef. Who wants to impress those around them. This is an opportune moment to do just that. It’s important to be collaborative, supportive and have the ability to work efficiently individually and within a team.

What’s involved in the role?
* Prepare meals for the residents, staff and visitors.
* To keep your kitchen clean and tidy.
* Maintain great food hygiene.
* Knowledge of how to use equipment safely and efficiently and ability to use it.
* Maintain and monitor stock and schedule and complete orders.

What We Offer
* A salary of £10.00 p/hr, and after 12 weeks worked, salary is raised to £10.50.
* Holiday pay accrued, starting from your first shift.
* A shift pattern to suit you as you choose
* Staff Portal – mark your availability, unavailability, time off. Check your rota for where you are working and when. Even view the location and work out your travel arrangements.
* ASA consultants are ready on call, 7 days a week!

* A PVG for adults will be required for this role and we can help with this application
