Project Lead

Scotland’s largest Public Sector body is seeking a Project Lead to provide excellent project management support to Service areas across the Programme of work. As the Project Lead you will have an opportunity to join a high profile and exciting programme. The postholder will be in the PMO however they will be embedded in delivery teams to ensure the best possible support in line with Programme priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Project Lead in applying and ensuring quality Programme Management Office activity in the Service area
• Build strong relationships with the Senior Project Lead and Service area teams particularly Service Managers, Product Owners and Leads), Programme Management Office colleagues and wider Programme
• Direct and provide high quality input to the development, analysis and maintenance of a wide range of project documentation including risk, planning, assurance and reporting
  • Coordinate and draft support for Business Cases, Strategies, Funding Requests
  • Play a lead role in routine Change Requests, facilitating input and ensuring quality requests across the Service area
  • Regular reviews and updates of Governance dashboards
  • Manage RAID logs and ongoing engagement with Service teams to monitor, update and escalate
• Provide subject matter expertise by providing guidance and challenge to service areas in maintaining

• Ability to build successful, professional relationships with colleagues, specialists, senior managers and leaders that leads to successful delivery
• Ability to prioritise tasks and activities, adding value at all points to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate where you have provided expertise, support and advice to colleagues across a range of business areas towards a common goal
