Senior Project Lead

Description

ASA Recruitment’s well-known public sector client are looking to onboard a Senior Project Lead. The postholder will join a new large-scale programme for an initial 6 months with the possibility of extension. The postholder will be working at home initially but on return to the office will be abased in the Central Belt,

Responsibilities:
· Develop strong and effective relationships with leads to help push the delivery and overcome any blockers in progressing the devolution of the programme
· Responsible for checking information, chasing actions and updating plans to support regular checkpoint meetings with the planning and delivery leads
· Acting as point of contact with the Project Engagement team and the Project Management Office for internal and external stakeholders
· Co-ordinating and facilitating workshop with stakeholders to further progress the successful delivery and devolution of benefit lines.
· Internal promotion of the role of the Project Engagement & Delivery team
· Managing workload of a Project Co-ordinator
· Control of all documentation and file management of joint products and documentation

Requirements:
· Demonstrate a track record in project management and delivery including setting plans and priorities within a project structure
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support management of stakeholders
· Ability to collate, organise, analyse and use information to plan and deliver services, products and technology improvements
· Experience of supporting, providing guidance to and maintaining the governance and plans for business and technical projects using Agile and Prince 2
