Internal Communications Events Manager

Are you an Events Manager looking for a new opportunity?

ASA Recruitment are working with a well-known Public Sector body to recruit an Events Manager. As the Event Manager you will work on events that are being designed to provide a platform for two way communication between employees and senior leadership, including as a means of employee recognition and learning and development.

The successful event manager will work within the Internal Communication team to form a dedicated events working group who will be responsible for ensuring the events achieve their overall objective.

As the Events Manager you will:

• Develop communications plan including all communications activities to promote event attendance
• Assist the Senior Event Managers with event content, including work with event design group to source key note speakers and MCs
• Provide briefing packs and on the day support to all speakers
• Coordinate on the day virtual stage management
• Manage on the day digital engagement
• Moderate and document on the day Q&A
• Manage all subtitling and post-event transcripts
  
• Assist with the evaluation of event success

Successful candidates for this Events Manager role will need:

• Experience in communications with strong ability to plan and deliver staff engagement events
• Evidence of using digital engagement platforms, such as Slido, to generate two way conversation between staff and leadership
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels
• A Basic Disclosure Scotland
