Senior Content Producer & Live Events Coordinator

ASA Recruitment are working with our client in Edinburgh to recruit for a Senior Content Producer & Live Events Coordinator in the Public Sector.

This is a 4 Month contract with potential extension. Due to current circumstances this role will be based remotely.
As the Senior Content Producer & Live Events Coordinator you will work within the Internal Communication team to form a dedicated events working group who will be responsible for ensuring the events achieve their overall objective.

Main duties:
· Work as part of an events design group to help define event structure and agenda
· Work with broadcasting colleagues to manage the daily video and audio streaming in the lead up to and during the events
· Work with technology colleagues to consider the best virtual platform for hosting online events, helping to plan and run in event tech and dress rehearsals
· Manage all pre-event filming and editing [includes working with senior leaders and potentially Ministers to capture event content
· Create pre-event graphics content
· Produce video content for speaker sessions
· Set up an event “studio” to be the hub for all video streaming
· Coordinate and assist with live event filming
· Manage all aspects of the video production budget, including ensuring value for money and sustainability
· Assist with the evaluation of event success

Essential Skills:
· Experience in production management preferably with experience of producing and delivering large scale digital engagement events
· Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels
· Ability to plan and stick to project / work schedules time-lines to achieve sought outcomes
· A technical background in live television production and programme making would be helpful
· Candidates are required to have a Basic Disclosure Scotland Certificate
